Dreamhack Rotterdam The first Dreamhack in the Netherlands!
DreamHack is the world’s largest computer festival. DreamHack’s core, and origin is the LAN party, with the two major festivals in Sweden, DreamHack Summer in June and DreamHack Winter in November. DreamHack also arranges festivals, events and competitions in several locations in Europe and North America.
Smashers pick up your controllers because Super Smash Bros. Melee is coming to Dreamhack Rotterdam in Ahoy, one of the country’s largest convention centres! With matches to be played on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th with a prize pool of €3,500 for singles and € 1,500 for doubles. On top of that we’ll have set-ups for free play and a City Crews tournament on Friday 18th! Of course we’ll add awesome prizes from our sponsors to the City Crews event.
HLC.S2J and PG|Zain will be flying in to compete at the event. Former world champion, Alliance|Armada will be providing commentary.
Instead of paying a separate fee per competition competitors can purchase a competitors pass which grants them access to the event and entrance to Melee related events. Note this does not include the a LAN spot. This also means the prize pool is set and not dependent on the entrants of the event.
